Men’s $15k PSA Challenger, 20-26 May, Bela Horizonte, Brazil

France’s Toufik Mekhalfi avenged his recent defeat to Ivan Perez to lift the second 15k title of his career to date, overcoming the Spaniard in five games to win the BH Open 2026.

Mekhalfi and Perez had contested the 15k ECP Open final just a week prior, a match which Perez had won in four games, but this time it was the World No.45 Mekhalfi who reigned supreme at Academia BH Squash in Brazil, clinching an 11-6, 8-11, 11-9, 8-11, 11-4 win after 99 minutes of thrilling play.

With victory, Mekhalfi moved through to a sixth PSA Tour title of his career and his third of the 2025/26 season.

On his way to the final, top seed Mekhalfi won respective matches against Dillon Huang in four games, Seif Tamer in four games and Alejandro Enriquez in straight games in the semi-finals.
